*This event is put on by your Oregon Boosters. Gate entry for the football game is by donation. We will have both gates open for your convenience and will accept donations at both gates. Great food, inflatables, freebie spirit items, and Oregon Hawk Spirit Wear will be available!

4:00 p.m. - Cross Country intrasquad meet in Park West

5:00 p.m. - 5:40 p.m. - Soccer scrimmage on Park West game field

5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. - Frosh/Soph Girls Volleyball scrimmage

5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Varsity Girls Volleyball scrimmage

6:20 p.m. - Welcoming announcement at Football Field

6:30 p.m. – Frosh/Soph Football, Cheerleading, Volleyball, Golf, Cross Country, and Soccer team introductions

6:45 p.m. – Frosh/Soph Football Scrimmage

7:15 p.m. – Cheer & poms perform “Thunderstruck”

High School Freshman/new to district athletes and families:

Freshman and other students new to Oregon High School that plan on participating in athletics during their high school career are required to attend (along with at least one parent) the Freshman/New Athlete Orientation Program on Thursday night, August 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Oregon High School Gym. Pertinent information regarding participation in athletics at OHS will be discussed with students and families. The event will be repeated on Monday night, August 14 after the regular Freshman Orientation program.

Athletes are not eligible to compete until they and their parent have met this obligation.

OHS announcement:
Student Council will be meeting again on August 4th at 10am. The homecoming theme will be decided at the meeting. We encourage freshman to come and see what student council is all about! Also, sidewalk painting will be at 8:30 am for anyone that wants to volunteer (they will get service hours and student council hours).

OHS Marching Band:
Marching Camp

 Marching Camp is designated for the learning of marching technique, the learning of the marching drill, the cleaning of the music, and the having of fun. No flip-flops.

 Drum Line and Color Guard will also learn their routines during marching camp; however, there will also be separate rehearsals for these two groups.

 All rehearsal time will be spent either on the field or in the band room.

 Bring water bottles! No flip-flops.

 You will be fully ready for the first day of band at school only if you have attended marching camp.

 With the new times this year, please pack a lunch or plan accordingly (lunch will be 12:00-1:00). No flip-flops.
