The Junior Senior High School is conducting a safety drill and some of our families at OES may have inadvertently received a notification.
This was just a drill across the street and the message was sent in error.
Thanks to the OHS Boys and Girls Basketball Teams for coming over to OES this week to spread some Hawk Pride as students arrived to school.
OES custodians rewarded several 5th graders today with cupcakes and soda for their hard work last week helping set up for the spelling bee.
2nd graders designed and created bugs to demonstrate their learning following their CKLA Knowledge unit
3rd Grade celebrated meeting their MAP goals while Kindergarten celebrated all they have learned through 101 Days of Kindergarten!
OES January Leaders of the Month! Students were selected for displaying positive behavior, leadership, kindness to others, and going above and beyond to make our school a better place!

During the month of November in honor of Veterans Day, students at Oregon Elementary School conducted a coin drive. The students raised $824 to be donated to the Oregon VFW.
Mrs. Huels’ kindergarten class visited Allure of Pinecrest this past Tuesday. Together they enjoyed winter stories and created cheerful snowman crafts. There’s no better way to beat the winter blues than with friendly smiles and a sweet story shared together. We are so thankful for this special partnership and the connections being made across generations. Run, Run, as fast you can, you can’t catch me, I am the Gingerbread Man!
Kindergarten classes were treated to a visit from retired teacher Jeff Stultz who helped each class make gingerbread dough before they decorated a giant cookie in the shape of a boy or girl. After baking, the students searched for the cookies throughout the building. Many of the cookies ended up in Principal’s office to be found by the students. Thanks to the Kindergarten team for creating this memorable experience.
