Regional softball semi-final: Oregon defeats Somonauk 6-0. The Hawks move on to the Regional Championship Saturday morning at 11:00 am at Park West.

Congrats to our Big Northern Conference All Conference Athletic Honors athletes! These students have earned at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA for the current school year and have earned a varsity letter while participating in athletics.

Congrats to our IHSA Scholastic Achievement students! They have each completed at least one full season in an IHSA interscholastic activity in good standing, and they hold at least a 3.50 GPA on a 4-point scale after the fifth or seventh semester of their high school career.

Varsity softball beat Polo 6-2 and lost a close one 3-2 to Morrison
Varsity baseball lost 4-1 vs Amboy
JV baseball lost to Byron 8-0, beat Warren/Stockton 5-4, and lost to Du-Pec 15-3
Our JH track and field team advanced a number of athletes to the state track and field meet next weekend as well!
Congrats to Kollins Anaya, Nora Martin, London Laurent and Caroline Caposey for winning the Sectional Championship in the 1600 SMR.
Kollins was also the Sectional Champ in the 800 and 1600

The Oregon High School music program invites you to come hear their last two concerts of the year! The Spring Concert is on Saturday, May 9th at 7:00 p.m., and the Jazz Showcase will be on Saturday, May 16th at 7:00 p.m. Both performances are in the OJSHS Music Room and are free of charge.
Also, this year will be extra special as the jazz band will be premiering a symphony written by director, Andy Eckardt. The piece is based entirely on the music of Supertramp, and will feature Chicago saxophonist, Ian Letts. Don’t miss it!
