Unfortunately, due to the potential for more lightning, storms and high winds this afternoon, the Junior High track meet scheduled for today at Oregon (Monday 4/27) has been CANCELED. This meet will not be rescheduled. The JH track athletes will meet in the JH gym after school for a workout and will be finished around 4:40 pm.
JV home baseball and varsity baseball @ Dixon have been postponed. Make-up date TBA. They will have practice after school.

The Illinois State Board of Education held the 52nd Annual Those Who Excel Banquet in Bloomington-Normal on Saturday. 6 OCUSD representatives who celebrated among the state’s very best educators.
Courtney Gaulrapp, 5th Grade ELA, was formally recognized for being a Finalist for Illinois Teacher of the Year.
Kip Crandall (OJSHS Assistant Principal), Erin Moloney (ESL Teacher) , Derrek Rufer ( Community Volunteer) , Angela Wicklund (Elementary Paraprofessional), and McKenzie Dusing (1st Grade) were also celebrated at the state wide level.
