The 2026 Summer Crew is off to an incredible start! ☀️💪

In just over one week, this hardworking team has already made tremendous progress. Every room is receiving a top-to-bottom deep clean, floors are being refinished, and the transformation is well underway.

There's no shortage of work to be done, but these dedicated individuals continue to tackle every task with energy, determination, and a positive attitude.

Congratulations to Sophomore Isabelle Berg for being named 3rd Team All State by the Illinois Softball Coaches Association!

FY27 Registration Information:

We have officially opened fall sports registration! We are transitioning to online registration for athletics this upcoming school year. Parents or guardians will need to follow the directions below to register their students for athletic teams, sign paperwork, and upload information. Please reach out to the athletics offices for any questions!

We want to emphasize this is just for sports. School registration is separate.

This morning, OCUSD held its annual Summer Crew Start-Up and Safety Meeting. The meeting focused on summer project planning, workplace safety expectations, and operational procedures to help ensure a productive and successful season.

We are looking forward to a great summer and accomplishing many important projects while maintaining high standards for safety, teamwork, and performance.

Congrats to Daniel for his 7th place finish in the 800 at state. In the process, Daniel now holds our school record time in the 800. Also, shoutout to Brian Wallace on his strong effort in the triple jump at state. They will be escorted through town back to the school at approximately 8:00 pm.

At the culmination of a 2 Day Leadership Retreat in Byron, the District Leadership team commemorated the end of the event with a photo due to it being the last official team meeting with retiring team members Bill Nesemeier and Kip Crandall! Thank you for your years of dedicated service and leadership Bill and Kip!

The Memorial Dedication for Nancy Kerwin will take place TODAY at Oregon Park West Lower Shelter.
