
Baseball and softball seasons come to a close. Baseball lost 11-9 vs Winnebago in the regional semifinal and softball lost 9-0 to North Boone in the sectional semifinal.
Oregon High School Girls Track and Field welcome home - The Oregon High School girls track and field team finished 4th at the IHSA 1A state track and field meet on Saturday as well as having a State Champion in Jillian Hammer in the 300 Hurdles! There will be a welcome home event on Tuesday, May 26th in the JH gym at 5:30 pm.
STATE CHAMPION!!! Congratulations to Sophomore Jillian Hammer for winning the 300 Meter Hurdles State Championship with a time of 42.84

• Foyer doors (#5) will open for seniors at **11:30 AM**
• HR Imaging will be available in the OJSHS gym for individual graduation photos
• Seniors will receive their cords, stoles, and medals in the gym
• A class photo will be taken at 12:15!
• Seniors must report to their assigned waiting rooms by 12:30 PM
• Students arriving after 12:30 PM risk missing the graduation lineup

Graduation day is almost upon us! A big "Thank You" to Jenny, Adrian, and Zach for working tirelessly to setup and lineup 400+ chairs for the ceremony. This is no small feat, and takes many hours.
Additional "Thank You" to Ethan, Hannah, and Ari for doing final touches and touchups.
Let's not forget Brandon and Ken from maintenance and all their hard work making sure the building is in top operational order!

Boys HS Track and field finished 8th of 16 at the sectional; Brian Wallace and Daniel Gonzalez earned a trip to state.
Girls soccer season came to an end with a 2-1 loss against Rockford Christian in the regional final. Great season ladies.
At the IESA state track and field meet our 7th grade girls medley relay finished 5th, Kollins Anaya finished 5th in the 1600 and Chase Nelson finished 7th in the 100. Job well done to all of our athletes who competed yesterday.
Today, the IESA junior high and IHSA girls state track and field meets finish up and or softball team takes on Rock Falls for the regional championship at 11 at Park West. Good luck to all of our athletes today!
Regional softball semi-final: Oregon defeats Somonauk 6-0. The Hawks move on to the Regional Championship Saturday morning at 11:00 am at Park West.
OJSHS is proud to recognize the incredible work happening in our off-grid greenhouse. A huge thank you to Miss Chelsea Eden and her students for their hard work in the greenhouse.

Congrats to our Big Northern Conference All Conference Athletic Honors athletes! These students have earned at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA for the current school year and have earned a varsity letter while participating in athletics.

Congrats to our IHSA Scholastic Achievement students! They have each completed at least one full season in an IHSA interscholastic activity in good standing, and they hold at least a 3.50 GPA on a 4-point scale after the fifth or seventh semester of their high school career.

Varsity softball beat Polo 6-2 and lost a close one 3-2 to Morrison
Varsity baseball lost 4-1 vs Amboy
JV baseball lost to Byron 8-0, beat Warren/Stockton 5-4, and lost to Du-Pec 15-3
Our JH track and field team advanced a number of athletes to the state track and field meet next weekend as well!
Congrats to Kollins Anaya, Nora Martin, London Laurent and Caroline Caposey for winning the Sectional Championship in the 1600 SMR.
Kollins was also the Sectional Champ in the 800 and 1600
