Varsity softball picked up a strong 9-4 win over Amboy, powered by both clutch hitting and lockdown pitching. Mundell led the charge at the plate, coming through with 3 RBIs. In the circle, Czochara was flat out dominant, tossing 3.1 innings without allowing a hit and giving up zero earned runs. The offense stayed consistent up and down the lineup, piling up 12 hits and applying pressure all game long to secure the win.
JV added to the success by beating Amboy 6-2 in a tight game.
On the baseball side, JV is doing something special right now. After throwing a no-hitter in their last game, they came right back and did it again. Jasper Messenger, Brody Fry, Joey Venezia, and Keigan Leech combined for a second straight team no-hitter, an incredible achievement and a statement from the entire pitching staff and defense.
Oregon is rolling right now. Keep it going.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Casey's and the Cash for Classrooms Grant for granting the Oregon Junior High Physical Education Programs $5,821 to go towards classroom needs.
"The funds will help us purchase organizational materials, such as bins and storage bags, which would allow us to better care for and manage our existing equipment. In addition, this funding would enable us to introduce a new and engaging activity, 9 Square in the Air, into our curriculum. We will be able to purchase 4 of these units with this money. " - Mrs. O"Neil

We are looking for a high school cheer coach! Please reach out to Adam Albrecht, athletic director, for any questions.

Back in 2021, our ball diamonds were still covered with the white stuff ❄️. Fast forward to 2026, and the Maintenance Department is already getting the fields ready for baseball and softball games ⚾🥎.
We’re not sure what happened to winter this year, but we’re not complaining! The earlier we can get the fields ready, the sooner we can hear the crack of the bat and play ball.
Here’s to an early start to the season!
