Thursdays results: Girls varsity track and field finished 2nd of 10 at the Big Northern Conference meet; JV finished 6th of 10 Varsity softball lost 11-0 @ North Boone and the JV lost 13-12 Varsity baseball lost 17-11 to Rockford Lutheran; F/S baseball lost 18-5 to Byron Varsity soccer lost 4-1 to Princeton while the JV ended in a 1-1 tie

Hawks girls' soccer took down Dixon 1–0 last night to move to 11–3–1 on the season.

Mili Zavala recorded the shutout in goal, and Jaqlynn Rufer scored the game-winner off an assist from Shaylee Davis.

Principal Ryan Huels recognizing 6th graders Graham Kaskavage and Trinie Tran. Assistant Principal Kip Crandall recognizing 8th graders Nolan Terlikowski and Kinley Carlson. Assistant Principal Shannon Cremeens recognizing 12th graders Caleb Ehrler and Avery Kitzmiller.

Christine Remirez scored her first ever hat trick in a game against Rochelle, and she was nominated for Rockford Register Star Athlete of the Week because of it!

Unfortunately, due to the potential for more lightning, storms and high winds this afternoon, the Junior High track meet scheduled for today at Oregon (Monday 4/27) has been CANCELED. This meet will not be rescheduled. The JH track athletes will meet in the JH gym after school for a workout and will be finished around 4:40 pm.

JV home baseball and varsity baseball @ Dixon have been postponed. Make-up date TBA. They will have practice after school.

Softball @ Forreston has been cancelled and there is no practice tonight.

Soccer practice is cancelled for tonight.

High school boys and girls track will practice after school.

Huge congratulations to Coach Jarrett Reynolds on being named IBCA Regional Coach of the Year! This honor reflects the respect and recognition he’s earned from fellow coaches and district leadership across our region. His dedication, leadership, and success this season truly set the standard for this Oregon team. This is well deserved and we are proud to celebrate this incredible achievement!

With the end of the year coming up, we need one final push to get there. Every pair makes a difference!

You can drop off shoes at the school, and students can earn service hours for their donations if their name is listed on the donation. Let’s come together and finish strong!

The Oregon Hawks softball team defeated Byron (2-1), Rockford Lutheran (12-1), and Rock Falls (11-0) the last three days.

The young Hawks now move to 10-5 on the season, and 4-2 in conference play.
