Varsity softball picked up a strong 9-4 win over Amboy, powered by both clutch hitting and lockdown pitching. Mundell led the charge at the plate, coming through with 3 RBIs. In the circle, Czochara was flat out dominant, tossing 3.1 innings without allowing a hit and giving up zero earned runs. The offense stayed consistent up and down the lineup, piling up 12 hits and applying pressure all game long to secure the win.
JV added to the success by beating Amboy 6-2 in a tight game.
On the baseball side, JV is doing something special right now. After throwing a no-hitter in their last game, they came right back and did it again. Jasper Messenger, Brody Fry, Joey Venezia, and Keigan Leech combined for a second straight team no-hitter, an incredible achievement and a statement from the entire pitching staff and defense.
Oregon is rolling right now. Keep it going.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Casey's and the Cash for Classrooms Grant for granting the Oregon Junior High Physical Education Programs $5,821 to go towards classroom needs.
"The funds will help us purchase organizational materials, such as bins and storage bags, which would allow us to better care for and manage our existing equipment. In addition, this funding would enable us to introduce a new and engaging activity, 9 Square in the Air, into our curriculum. We will be able to purchase 4 of these units with this money.
