Tutoring is available! The National Honor Society will be offering tutoring this year for grades 7-12 on Tuesdays during Hawk Huddle, and after school on Wednesdays from 2:10-3 pm. Tutoring will begin tomorrow and run for the remainder of the semester.

Sign-up for JH Academic Bowl Teams is on the Band/Choir Room door. There is also info about rehearsals and meets that start on Monday, October 13th.
JH boys basketball signups are happening now in the main office! You must have all consent forms, concussion forms, and a current physical on file with the athletic office. 1st practice will be held today in the OJSHS gym. If you do not have your paperwork turned in by today, you will be unable to participate until the paperwork is on file with the athletic office.

Congrats to the 7th grade volleyball team earning a second place finish at Rt 72 conference tourney this weekend!!
Oregon HS XC ran in Freeport on a warm Saturday Morning.
The girls place 5th out of 11
Anya Anaya medaled at 14th place with a Personal Best time of 20:11
Other notable times for the girls were:
Madeline Rogers with a 21:50 and Evelyn Anderson with a 22:13
Ariana Chapa ran a Season Best time with a 27:21
The top three boys were:
Daniel Gonzalez with a 18:35
Chayse Rosenbalm with a 20:57 - A Personal Best
Stephen Delphonse with a 21:25
Mason Surmo ran a Personal Best with 24:00 flat.
The JH XC teams competed at the Pretzel Invitational on Saturday with Kollins Anaya medalling in 3rd place and the girls team placed 9th overall, showing great teamwork and perseverance despite the unseasonably warm day.
Silver Service Opportunities:
The Mount Morris Moose Lodge is looking for volunteers for their Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25th. Volunteers can sign up for one shift, or to help cover the whole event.
Shifts needed: Setup 12p-1p | Event 1p-4p | Cleanup 4p-5p

Mrs. O'Neil's Hawk Huddle service project has already collected 2,972 pairs of shoes this year. We will accept donations throughout the year, as we are trying to hit our lofty goal of 10,000 pairs this year. If you want service hours for shoes donated, please write your name and how many pairs of shoes are in the bag and drop off to either school office or the OHS gym. We appreciate every pair donated!
