Dear Hawks and Hawk Families,

Welcome to Oregon Junior/Senior High School! It is my sincere pleasure to welcome all students and families to the 2025–2026 school year. At OJSHS, we are proud to be a dynamic learning community where students are challenged, supported, and celebrated as they grow into lifelong learners and responsible, productive citizens, as stated in our District’s mission statement.

Our academic programs offer a wide range of opportunities designed to meet students where they are and propel them forward. From foundational courses to advanced placement, dual credit, and career and technical education, we are committed to helping every student discover their strengths and passions. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to ensure that learning is engaging, relevant, and rigorous.  Furthermore, students have multiple opportunities to enroll in various electives, such as:  band, choir, agriculture, Spanish, Project Lead the Way (computer science), visual arts, industrial technology and welding. 

Outside of the classroom, students can find their place and their purpose through an extensive offering of athletics and extracurricular activities. Whether competing on the field or court, performing on stage, leading a club, playing an instrument, or contributing to a student publication, our students learn the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

Service and leadership are also cornerstones of the OJSHS experience. Students are encouraged to give back through community projects, volunteer efforts, and school-wide initiatives that build empathy and a strong sense of civic duty. Through programs like Student Council, National Honor Society, and various leadership roles across campus, our students develop the skills and confidence needed to lead with integrity—both now and in the future.
