OJSHS Visitor Policy
Welcome to OJSHS!
At OJSHS, we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students, staff, and visitors. To support this goal, we have implemented a standardized visitor check-in process. We kindly ask that all guests—whether family members, vendors, or community partners—follow these procedures during your time on campus.
We understand that these steps may feel formal, but they are an important part of keeping our school safe. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Visitor Check-In Procedures
Arrival Time:
Visitors should plan to arrive a few minutes early to allow time for the check-in process.Required Check-In:
All visitors—including parents, guardians, and vendors—are required to check in at either the Main Office or BHC Office, depending on their point of entry.Identification:
A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or state ID card) is required for all visitors.Printed Badge:
After check-in, visitors will receive a printed badge that includes:Visitor’s photo
Full name
Destination on campus
The badge must be worn visibly on the outside of clothing at all times while on campus.
Visitor Lanyard:
All visitors will also be issued a red lanyard labeled "VISITOR" in white text. The lanyard must be worn with the badge and remain visible at all times.Check-Out:
Visitors are required to return the lanyard and check out at the same office where they checked in before leaving campus.
