Join OJSHS in celebrating our September Senior of the Distinction - Lux Tran!
“It is my pleasure to nominate Lux Tran for this award. I have had the privilege of teaching him in both Algebra 2 and AP Precalculus, In every instance, he has demonstrated an exceptional work ethic and genuine passion for learning. He consistently pushes himself to understand the material at a deep and meaningful level. He has never once hesitated to assist a struggling peer and his love for learning is truly contagious to anyone around him.
Beyond the classroom, he exemplifies the character of an Oregon Hawk. He is kind, empathetic, respectful and dedicated to not only his academics, but to his community as well. Community service is a top priority in his life. No matter the day or time, I know I can count on Lux to attend any and all community service events. His reliability, leadership, and humble nature make him an excellent role model for his peers and our younger Hawks alike.
I am incredibly proud of Lux and have no doubt that he will go on to accomplish incredible things!” –Mrs. Angela Reynolds, OJSHS Teacher
